PUBLIC TRANSIT

Arden Wood main number: (415) 681-5500. Public transportation to Arden Wood is available on MUNI "K" and "M" lines exiting at 14th Avenue on West Portal Avenue. Take BART to Powell Street and transfer to K or M lines outbound, or to Balboa Park station transferring to MUNI inbound.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

From South-by Auto via U.S. 101 or Interstate 280:

. Take 280 North toward San Francisco.

. As you approach Daly City on 280, move into the second lane from the left, it will become the third lane from the left.

. Take the left-hand exit marked "California 1, 19th Avenue-Golden Gate Bridge."

. As you proceed on the exit, approaching your first light, stay to the left and you will continue on 19th Ave.

. Cross Sloat Boulevard and get into the right lane and take your next available right on Vicente Street.

. Proceed up four blocks to 15th Ave. and turn right again. Proceed one block to Wawona Street.

. Turn right on Wawona, at middle of block turn left into Arden Wood and up the driveway to our main entrance.

From North-by Auto:

. On U.S. 101 South and California 1, over Golden Gate Bridge.

. Merge into the right lane while on bridge.

. Shortly after paying toll ($5) at the south end of Golden Gate Bridge, take 19th Avenue exit from the right lane.

. After emerging from tunnel you will be on Park Presidio-which becomes 19th Avenue / Rt.1.

. Traveling south, after winding through Golden Gate Park, (the streets become listed in alphabetical order and no left turns are allowed) turn right at Ulloa St. Go one block, and then turn left at 20th Ave.

. Proceed one block then left again on to Vicente St. Drive straight ahead crossing over 19th Avenue to 15th Avenue. Turn right at 15th Avenue one block and turn right at Wawona St., then turn left at middle of block into Arden Wood, up the driveway to our main entrance.

From East-by Auto:

. Follow 80W over Bay Bridge ($4 toll) keeping in the center right lane to 101 South.

. Take 101 South, and remain in middle or right lane.

. Follow signs to Interstate 280 South and exit to the right at the Daly City / 280 South exit.
. Take the Ocean-Geneva Exit off of 280 and turn right onto Ocean Ave.

. Remain on Ocean (traveling west) for approximately 2 miles, turn right at 19th Ave./ Rt. 1.

. Proceed on 19th Avenue north about ¾ mile past Sloat Boulevard to the next available right on Vicente Street.

. Proceed up hill 4 blocks and turn right at 15th Ave. Go one block and turn right on Wawona. After ½ block turn left into Arden Wood, up the driveway to our main entrance.
