General FundYour support of this unrestricted fund is vital at this time, allowing our Trustees to address Arden Wood’s highest fiscal priorities. General Fund contributions are essential to maintain our day-to-day operations and meet special needs in fulfillment of our healing mission.
Building and Restoration FundWe have spent a great deal of time and money improving Arden Wood over the past five years – to better meet the needs of our nursing patients, our residents, and our many guests. Our current focus is on funding the garden renovations needed as our eastern border is developed, upgrading the auditorium (chapel) to a multi use facility, and completing payments for the refurbished William Henry Alton, CSB, nursing wing, which in now in full operation.
Financial Assistance FundOur financial assistance and benevolence policy supports the healing of all who come to Arden Wood, regardless of one’s ability to pay the full costs associated with nursing care. Over the years, we have provided millions of dollars in financial aid to those in need. Your donation to this fund enables us to alleviate a sense of financial burden by offering an immediate sense of comfort.
Christian Science Nurses Training FundA fundamental component of our mission is to provide training for dedicated Christian Scientists to become nurses based on Article VIII, Section 31, in the Manual of the Mother Church. This fund directly supports Training in the Nursing Arts at Arden Wood.
Christian Science Visiting Nurse ServiceThis service covers a wide area of northern California, and is funded entirely by donations. Your gifts help provide Christian Science nursing in the homes of nearby Christian Scientists relying on spiritual healing.
