New Healthcare Legislation – Where to Begin?

Christian Scientists are asking how the latest healthcare reform legislation from Washington will affect them.  Part of Arden Wood’s service is to help Christian Scientists understand how to deal with healthcare costs, insurance, and related issues where Christian Science nursing is part of the answer.  Any group of Christian Scientists can call to request a presentation on this topic by our staff.  Because the scope of the latest healthcare reform law is so wide, we recommend a recent article in the weekly Christian Science Monitor entitled “Healthcare reform, in plain English” by Peter Grier (April 5, 2010, pp. 16-17).

The ways in which the new legislation will affect individuals and families will become clearer as specific regulations are formulated, and this is still in progress—your prayers for a fair and helpful outcome are needed.
