The Arden Wood Sheltered Care program has eleven newly renovated guest rooms. Although near in proximity, it is separate from our Christian Science nursing floor. The Sheltered Care program is staffed by skilled Christian Science nurses who provide light assistance to guests needing a supportive environment. This program increases our capacity to meet the needs of the Christian Science field by filling the gap between our independent residential program and Christian Science nursing care. As an extension of our Christian Science nursing floor, we maintain the same expectation of healing without a limit to length of stay.

 
Care provided includes light assistance with personal care, bathing and mobility, gentle reminders and guidance, as well as assistance for individuals with vision challenges. Twenty-four-hour care and oversight is provided by skilled Christian Science nurses.
