A guest fell in her room one evening injuring her leg. There was a large open area that required skilled cleansing and bandaging for the next week or so. The family was so grateful that she was at Arden Wood and that Christian Science nursing care was so readily available. The wound healed quickly without hindering the guest's mobility.

A family member of one Sheltered Care guest commented that the guest seems brighter and more alert since being at Arden Wood. She acknowledged that it must be the Christian Science atmosphere and activities that make the difference.

The daughter of another guest has noted marked improvement in her mother's appearance and attitude since being in the Sheltered Care program. She has expressed much gratitude for the care and shepherding that her mother is now receiving.
