24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK

The Arden Wood Christian Science Visiting Nurse Service extends our mission of “healing through skillful Christian Science nursing care” out into the Greater San Francisco Bay Area. The service answers calls twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Regular visits are made between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., and calls involving sudden needs are answered around-the-clock.

Our Christian Science visiting nurses are trained professionals listed in The Christian Science Journal. They stand ready to tenderly provide Christian Science nursing care in the home, office, school, or wherever there is a need in the Christian Science community. The care is provided on a temporary, hourly basis of usually two hours or less to individuals radically relying on Christian Science with the support of a practitioner list in The Christian Science Journal.

The Christian Science Visiting Nurse Service serves the city of San Francisco and most other nearby areas. The primary geographic area covered includes San Francisco and nearby communities; Marin County north to Santa Rosa; the East Bay including Vacaville, Walnut Creek, Concord, and south to Milpitas (San Mateo and Santa Clara counties are served by the Peninsula Visiting Nurse Service for Christian Scientists.)
