The training and education of Christian Science nurses are central to fulfilling Arden Wood’s healing mission. As a Journal-listed Christian Science nurse with an exemplary practice, you are able to provide visionary leadership, oversight, and spiritual guidance, ensuring the highest quality experience for each participant in the Christian Science Nursing Arts training program. Your focus is on ensuring quality mentoring and supporting individual spiritual development and steady progress. Willingness to teach, guide, and inspire is essential. You have strong management skills and work well with others to foster a collaborative, spiritually grounded, and forward-thinking work environment.

In this position, you’re part of the team that leads Arden Wood’s primary activity—providing practical care in support of Christian Science healing. The ADCSN is a Journal‑listed Christian Science nurse with an active ministry that includes 6+ years of varied experience in a Christian Science care facility. This role requires strong skills in communicating, supervising, coaching and correcting, problem-solving, decision-making, and multi-tasking. You will co-manage the staff with the DCSNS, work with scheduling and time-off requests, ensure patient care plans are up to date, serve in patient rooms (if needed), and supervise at least once a week. Poise and grace are essential.

You are a fully trained Christian Science nurse, who has graduated from or is familiar with the Christian Science Nursing Arts training program.

You love being a Christian Science nurse, you are a graduate of or very familiar with the Christian Science Nursing Arts, and you’re eager to share your love, expertise, and experience as a Mentor—in other words, to support our Christian Science nurses as they move through the four levels of classroom and on-the-job training. Being a Mentor, you have clear ethics, sound judgement, excellent care skills, and an exemplary and broad practice, all of which enables you to lead with appreciation for individual progress and devotion to a high standard of care. Most of all, you’re eager to share your experience and your love for Christian Science nursing to inspire others as they grow in this healing work!
